How to cut the chain of thoughts in your mind ?
Our mind can’t remain in vaccum . Its basic nature is to
fill the vaccum. The Mind is rebellious child. That’s why to silent the mind is the
most difficult task. When we try to sit silently for meditation , you will observe
that the thoughts are coming and making disturbances. It seems this is a unbroken chain of thoughts but here is the catch. There are gaps between chain
of thoughts or there is a little pause before the next thought comes up.
See there is pause or gap between two thoughts. If you
pay complete attention to the gaps then slowly you will realise that the chain
of thought is subsiding. If we cut the thought before the next one then
these waves of thoughts will stop. With increasing awareness our observing
capacity also increases and it becomes easy to silent the mind.
Its takes practice and time.
But with focus and awareness we can make this
rebellious child to sit under control.
